Forty years. One name. And now, a truck that’s been rebuilt from the ground up to dominate every road — sealed or not. The new Nissan Navara is officially on sale at dealerships across New Zealand, and it’s not just an update. It’s a statement.

Suspension That Actually Works for You

Here’s what sets this Navara apart from the pack: Nissan didn’t just tune one suspension setup and call it a day. They developed three distinct suspension tunes — each precisely calibrated for different drivers and different demands.

That work was done locally, in partnership with Melbourne-based engineering specialists Premcar. Every kilometre of Kiwi road — from motorway commutes to loose metal back-country tracks — was factored in. The result is a ute that doesn’t just cope with local conditions. It thrives in them.

Power That Hits Different

Under the bonnet sits a proven 2.4-litre bi-turbo diesel mated to a smooth six-speed automatic. The numbers? 150kW and 470Nm of torque. That’s 10kW more power, 20Nm more torque, and 0.2L/100km better fuel efficiency than the outgoing D23. More grunt, less at the pump. That’s the kind of upgrade you actually feel.

Go Anywhere. Full Stop.

Two 4WD systems mean the new Navara is built for whatever you throw at it — city traffic or technical off-road terrain, there’s a setup tuned to the task. Steering feel has been dialled in alongside the suspension tune so the whole package moves as one: responsive, confident, and precise.

The 2026 lineup covers every kind of Kiwi driver, from the workhorse to the weekend warrior:
